Checkpoint....Do a Barrel Roll, Fox!

Fall Break, the Friday off in October to make up the Monday we had off in the beginning of the year to make up for Labor Day. I went to Baltimore to visit my friend at Loyola. Let me just say that they custom order their food. No TDR style buffet, but we still win because our food is better. Any way, I went to aquarium and saw sharks, frogs, sting rays, turtles, lizards, snakes birds, and dolphins. The dolphin show that we saw was AMAZING!!!!!! They did tricks and jumped up high and splashed the audience. But on the MARC I noticed that there was nothing between Washington and Baltimore. All the stops were just giant parking lots. To get off the train, you would have to jump off the train to the tracks and walk to the parking lot. The only stations where there were more than cars were BWI and Baltimore Penn. The reason why there isn’t much seems to be that is where all the people who work in the cities live. The MARC is a commuter train between the two cities. There are only about 6 stops between Union Station and Baltimore Penn. Baltimore and Washington have developed a metropolitan area that creates a large amount of suburbs in between. Since both cities have such a large commuter work force, the suburbs are also large.

So now to unfunny first Sarah Palin sketch on SNL. Maybe unfunny isn’t the right word or a word at all, but the sketch had so much potential. I did enjoy the fact that she could make fun of herself so easily. The opening was clever only because it was very hard to tell the difference between Palin and Tina Fey. Not the best sketch but still okay. The better Palin sketch was her appearance on Weekend Update. Amy Poehler’s rap about Palin made the show relatively funny. Thats all I have to say...so yeah...We are already 1/2 done!!!!
